Summary

Exmiron is a premium corporate website for a Dubai-based general trading company working in import, export, sourcing, logistics and consulting. The project delivers one brand identity across an English left-to-right layout and a fully mirrored Arabic right-to-left layout, with contact paths in Dubai and Florence.

Business context

Exmiron operates across European and Middle Eastern markets, which means presenting the same corporate identity to English-reading and Arabic-reading audiences without either version feeling like an afterthought.

The challenge

Deliver full layout parity between a left-to-right English site and a right-to-left Arabic site — navigation, spacing, iconography and motion all mirrored correctly — while keeping one consistent, premium visual identity.

Objectives

  • Present a premium, consistent brand identity in both English and Arabic.
  • Support full right-to-left layout for Arabic without a degraded experience.
  • Structure corporate content — services, about, projects, news — around clear navigation.
  • Provide clear contact paths for both the Dubai and Florence offices.
  • Establish an SEO metadata foundation for the corporate site.

Role & responsibilities

Full design and frontend development, including the bidirectional layout system that keeps English and Arabic in parity.

  • Visual direction and premium corporate design
  • Frontend build with full right-to-left layout support
  • Multilingual, bidirectional content architecture (i18next)
  • Corporate information architecture and navigation design
  • SEO metadata foundation
  • Contact-form integration for Dubai and Florence enquiries

Solution overview

The site runs on i18next to drive both language content and layout direction, so switching to Arabic mirrors the entire interface rather than only flipping text. Corporate sections — services, about, projects, news — share one navigation system across both directions, and contact enquiries route through EmailJS to the Dubai and Florence teams.

What was built

Bidirectional multilingual system

  • Full English and Arabic content parity
  • Complete right-to-left layout mirroring, not just text direction

Corporate presentation

  • Animated homepage and full-screen navigation menu

Architecture & technology

A Next.js 14 App Router site with i18next driving locale and text-direction state together, so every component reads its layout direction from the active language rather than from hardcoded CSS.

Design decisions

Direction-aware layout, not a mirrored stylesheet
Components read text direction from the active locale, so RTL support extends to new sections without a separate Arabic-only layout to maintain.
One identity, two directions
Typography and motion are restrained enough to hold the same premium tone in both English and Arabic.

SEO foundation

  • Metadata foundation across services, about, projects and news pages
  • Sitemap and robots groundwork for search discoverability

Technical challenges

  • Achieving true right-to-left parity — spacing, icon direction and navigation mirroring — across every component in one design system
  • Keeping one visual identity consistent across two structurally different reading directions

Current status

Implemented

  • Bilingual English and Arabic content with full RTL layout
  • Corporate sections: services, about, projects, news
  • Dubai and Florence contact paths
  • EmailJS contact-form integration
  • SEO metadata foundation
